Makita DVC665 Twin 18v LXT Cordless Backpack Vacuum Cleaner
The Makita DVC665 is a cordless backpack vacuum cleaner designed for efficient dust extraction on construction sites and workshops. Powered by two 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries operating in series to deliver 36V performance, this backpack vacuum combines portability with professional-grade suction power. The brushless motor technology ensures reliable operation whilst maximising runtime and extending tool life.
The backpack design keeps your hands free whilst working, with a comfortable and fully adjustable harness and waist belt for all-day wear. The controller can be operated in-hand for convenient on/off switching and power selection between max, high and low settings, with a belt clip that attaches to the harness waist belt for easy access. The mode memory function automatically starts the vacuum at the same suction power level as when previously switched off.
Built-in battery protection circuitry safeguards the batteries from damage caused by over-discharge, high temperatures or overload current. The HEPA filtration system captures fine dust particles, making this vacuum ideal for applications requiring stringent dust control. With generous dust bag capacities and the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) for synchronised operation with compatible power tools, the DVC665 is suitable for demanding trade applications including drilling, grinding and cutting operations.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
