The Makita 195563-0 Plunge Base Set is a genuine Makita accessory designed to convert the DRT50 and RT0700 trim routers into a fully capable plunge routing setup.
Fitted with ergonomically contoured knob-style handles, the plunge base is comfortable to operate during extended use, making it well suited to joiners, cabinetmakers, and carpenters working on repetitive routing tasks. The conveniently located plunge lock lever keeps the unit secure and responsive throughout each pass.
Precision is built in through an easy-to-use fine depth adjustment system with three pre-set depth stops, allowing operators to step through consistent cut depths without re-measuring between passes. The plunge capacity range of 0–35mm covers a wide variety of routing applications, from shallow grooves to deeper mortises and housing joints.
