Makita HR007G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill
The Makita HR007G is a professional brushless rotary hammer drill powered by the advanced 40v Max XGT Li-ion battery system, designed for demanding SDS Plus drilling applications. This powerful tool delivers 3.0 joules of impact energy with up to 5,000 blows per minute, making it ideal for drilling into concrete, steel, and wood. Available in body-only or kit configurations with batteries and charger.
The HR007G features variable speed control via the trigger, allowing precise speed matching to your application, while constant speed control automatically applies additional power to maintain consistent performance under load. The one-touch sliding chuck enables quick bit changes, whilst the integrated depth gauge ensures accurate, repeatable drilling depths. An LED job light illuminates the work area for improved visibility in darker conditions.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
