Makita KT001G 40v Max XGT Cordless Kettle
The Makita KT001G 40v Max XGT Cordless Kettle brings the convenience of hot water to jobsites where AC sockets are unavailable. Designed for professional tradespeople, this innovative cordless kettle can be powered by either one or two Makita 40v XGT lithium-ion batteries, or alternatively by the PDC1200 portable power pack, providing ultimate flexibility on site.
The dual layer construction features an inner stainless steel layer and outer plastic layer, delivering excellent heat retention whilst keeping the exterior surface cool to the touch. The kettle sits on a power supply stand and can be transferred easily using the carrying handle. With a 0.8 litre tank capacity, it boils water in approximately 8-9 minutes depending on ambient temperature.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
