Makita LS004G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Slide Compound Mitre Saw 260mm
The Makita LS004G is a professional 260mm cordless brushless slide compound mitre saw powered by the advanced 40v Max XGT Li-Ion battery platform. This high-performance saw delivers consistently smooth cutting through its brushless motor technology, reaching speeds of up to 3,600 rpm with constant speed control that automatically applies additional power to maintain performance under load.
Designed for both precision and convenience, the LS004G features a comfortable D-handle, lock-off 2-stage safety switch, and front knob for easy bevel angle adjustments. The rail-forward design allows the rear of the machine to be placed close to walls, whilst the large turn base securely supports workpieces. Holders on both sides accommodate longer workpieces horizontally, and a one-touch sliding lock controls the carriage movement. The see-through blade guard provides excellent visibility of the cutting line, enhanced by an integrated LED job light. Available as a body-only unit or as a complete kit with batteries and charger.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
