Q : I’ve bought an erbauer plunge saw from screwfix as I only need it for a few odd jobs. However need an extension for the rails. Do you know if the makita rails are compatible please.
A : Hi John, I know that Erbauer plunge saws have always been compatible with the Makita rails, so unless they've made any drastic design revisions recently you should be good as far as that goes. However, whether or not the Makita rail will connect onto an Erbauer rail (and whether you'll get a clean join) is not something I can confirm. Unfortunately we don't stock Erbauer rails for obvious reasons, otherwise I'd see if we could have a go..
