Makita SDS Max Grooving Chisel
The Makita SDS Max Grooving Chisel is a specialist chisel bit designed for precise grooving and channel-cutting in concrete, masonry, and other hard materials.
Compatible with SDS Max rotary hammers, this grooving chisel delivers controlled, accurate results when cutting channels for pipework, conduit, or cable runs. The grooving profile ensures clean, consistent results compared to flat or point chisels.
At 300mm in length with a 26mm working width, it is well suited to first-fix tasks where accuracy matters — including creating grooves in blockwork or concrete walls prior to plastering.
