Makita SDS Plus Brad Point Drill Bit for Wood
The Makita SDS Plus Brad Point Drill Bits for Wood are designed specifically for use with SDS Plus rotary drills, allowing tradespeople to benefit from the quick-change convenience of an SDS Plus shank when drilling into timber. The precision-ground brad point tip centres accurately on the workpiece, reducing wander and delivering clean, accurate entry holes — ideal for joinery, carpentry, and general woodworking applications on site.
These bits are engineered to work in rotation-only mode, so it's important to ensure the hammer function is switched off before use. This protects both the bit and the workpiece, maintaining the quality finish professionals demand. Available in diameters from 4mm to 10mm, there's a size to suit a wide range of boring tasks.

SDS Plus Drill Bits are designed specifically for SDS Plus Drills and will not fit in a normal cordless drill or electric drill unless it is an SDS Plus Drill. They do not fit SDS Max Drills.
