Makita UA004G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Telescopic Pole Saw
The Makita UA004G is a professional 300mm (12") cordless brushless telescopic pole saw powered by the impressive 40v Max XGT Lithium-Ion battery platform. This versatile tool features an adjustable overall length (without guide bar) from approximately 2.6m to 3.8m, making it ideal for reaching high branches whilst maintaining control from the ground.
Engineered with user convenience in mind, the UA004G features a retractable oil tank cap that decreases the chance of the saw head snagging in branches during operation. The high transparency chain oil tank allows you to easily monitor remaining oil levels at a glance. Safety is paramount with active feedback sensing technology that automatically shuts down the tool if rotation speed suddenly slows down, protecting both user and equipment.
This pole saw is available in two configurations: a bare unit or a complete kit with batteries and charger, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your existing tool collection.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
