The Makita UE001G is a professional-grade cordless lawn edger designed for creating precise, clean edges on lawns, pathways, and driveways. Powered by Makita's advanced 40V XGT battery platform, this brushless edger delivers up to 1100W of output power, combining the performance of petrol models with zero emissions and reduced noise.
The high-efficiency brushless motor maximises runtime and power delivery while minimising maintenance requirements. Variable speed control allows operators to adjust the cutting speed from 0-4800 RPM to suit different grass types and soil conditions, whilst constant speed control technology maintains consistent performance under load. The adjustable cutting depth accommodates varying edge profiles, with a maximum cutting capacity of 59mm and a 203mm cutting width for efficient coverage.
Safety and user comfort are prioritised throughout the design. Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) automatically stops the motor if rotation is suddenly interrupted, protecting both operator and tool. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
