Makita UX01G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool Kit
The Makita UX01G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool is a versatile cordless multi-function power head built for serious garden maintenance. Powered by Makita's 40v Max XGT Li-ion platform, the XGT revolutionary technology ensures the battery and motor work in perfect harmony for optimum performance throughout every task.
The kit includes both a brushcutter attachment and a hedge trimmer attachment. The EM404MP brushcutter features a steel drive shaft for reduced vibration and longer equipment life, with a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. The EN402MP hedge trimmer comes with a 500mm double-edged blade and a 13-stage angle-adjustable head, ranging from 90° up to 90° down.
Attachments connect via a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock mechanism. Available with or without batteries and charger to suit your existing XGT setup.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
