The Milwaukee M18 JS2000 is a cordless vehicle jump starter designed for use with any Milwaukee M18 18V battery, offering professional-grade emergency starting capability on site or on the road.
Powered by Milwaukee's M18 battery platform rather than an internal lithium pack, the JS2000 integrates seamlessly into an existing M18 tool kit — eliminating the need for a dedicated jump starter battery and removing pre-charging requirements. With up to 2,000 peak amps of output, it is capable of starting petrol engines up to 8.1 litres and diesel engines up to 3.0 litres, covering the vast majority of commercial vehicles and plant machinery a contractor is likely to encounter.
The unit is ready to jump in under 70 seconds, making it a practical choice for time-sensitive situations on the job. Internal capacitors rated to 500,000 cycles ensure long-term reliability, while all-weather performance rated from -20°C to +50°C means the unit remains dependable across seasons and working conditions.
Custom-designed clamps improve access to battery terminals, and the bright digital display provides a clear voltage readout. Safety is well considered, with spark-proof, reverse polarity, and overheat protection all built in as standard. On a 5.0Ah M18 battery, the JS2000 delivers up to 50 jump starts per charge.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
