Suitable for twigs, branches and hedge clippings, the SSH-2540CBU can process material up to 40mm in diameter, and its rolling cutting head automatically pulls the waste through the machine where it is shredded and deposited into the large bin below. A bidirectional switch enables you to reverse the direction of the blades in order to clear blockages, and to ensure operator safety the shredder is fitted with a safety starter switch and an internal zero-voltage switch which prevents the blades from starting up automatically after a temporary power failure (e.g if there is a power cut or the plug is pulled out by mistake).
