Ozito 2600W Silent Garden Shredder
Domestic garden shredders maximum shredding diameter is based on shredding green waste and not hard branches. Please note that brown waste (branches /twigs) reduce the maximum diameter the shredder is capable of. As a rule half the size of the maximum diameter for a guide to maximum brown waste (branches /twigs) the shredder will be capable of. Also note that shredder performance if affected by how much moisture is in waste being shredded. You must not attempt to shred wet waste in electric shredders.

I have wanted a garden Shredder for ages, so I bit the bullet and bought one. OMG this is amazing, I thought the reviews were too good to be true. So easy to use, and chomps up the crap brilliantly. I would recommend this product to anyone, and at a great price. It compares to much more expensive products I've researched, as I look for this particular model. Get one you won't regret it.

Functionally the same as the titan version. A little less quality on the build but for home use this doesn't matter. Shreds apple tree prunings fine.

Strange being asked for a review when hardly had time to use it for long !? Anyway the collector box was broken on arrival, guess due to poor packaging but doesn't bode well for future. Had to return whole shredder & order another You need to box in place to activate the safety switch. The motor and mechanics seem powerful and goes thru 30mm diam straight wood fine and quietly compared to the impact shredders. Doesn't leave attractive chippings for a mulch - sort of stringy stuff ! Not risked adjusting it too much to improve chipping appearance, not tried soft stuff - dont think it'll be so good at that. Like the reversing action, doesn't clog much with wood but some odd parts get stck now and again.

Great item great value very quiet never used one before very surprised how easy to use but brilliant to use. Just have to dial in the cutting drum to get finer shredding but great my only concern was no plastic poker to help feed the thinner stuff but found and used what I had overall great machine

Ozito 2600W Silent Garden Shredder. I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. The price was very competitive. I have assembled it and turned it on but I haven't shredded any material but it does sound very quiet for a shredder. The build quality looks OK the locking mechanism between the collection box and the machine is a bit fiddly and difficult to line up correctly. Apart from that I have no other issues. Tooled-up were excellent from purchase to delivery cannot fault them at all.

Used it for first time yesterday and very impressed. Going to be very useful when I trim our birch trees later in year, Have to be careful adjusting for fine cut so as to not foul cutter on 'anvil'.

The Ozito Electric Silent Shredder is powerful and the quietest I've ever owned. I have a large garden with 5 trees and 22 bushes & shrubs, some with 1" thick stems. Other branded units burnt out in 2 months of use, I can already tell that this Ozito will outlast the others by years. It doesn't seem to struggle, and munches with ease.

This is a shredder designed for woody stuff not soft weeds which rot down. Has rotating ridged drum which pulls stuff through and chops it against an adjustable metal plate into pellets. Reversible if needed. Top feed slot is too narrow to feed over sized branches. 2400 watt motor is well up to the job. Strong construction. Minimal assembly needed. Large plastic container for the pellets. Made short work of a pile of bamboo. No more trips to the dump. Electric cut out switch etc. Quick and quiet in use.

This is the first shredder I've owned so I don't have anything to compare it to. But it's everything I could have hoped for. It's reassuringly heavy and eats everything you feed it, if it fits through the slot then it munches it up without a problem. I am over the moon with it.

Very disappointed. Yes quiet but really not up to the job. After shredding lots of large pieces unshredded in the bin.

A : Good afternoon, This item is suitable for twigs, branches and hedge clippings.
Q : Will this machine shred apples
A : Hi Jim, you'll notice the maximum cutting diameter is listed as 40mm and I suspect that anything but the smallest apples will therefore be too big - that aside I'm not sure you would want to try and shred apples due to the mess it would create. These types of shredders are only really designed for fairly dry material like branches, and although the user manual isn't available online I imagine it probably advises against attempting to put anything other than branches and clippings into the machine.
Q : Is it driven by battery or mains cable. Please give details of whichever. Thank you.
A : Hi Malcolm, this is a corded machine which is fitted with a UK mains plug. You'll notice underneath the price it says "This product(s) operates on a 240v electric power supply" which is what all tools on our site will say if they run on the standard UK mains connection. Garden shredders are powerful machines and I'm not aware of any on the market that are battery powered currently.
