Portwest Clip On Ear Defenders for Endurance Helmets

The Portwest Clip On Ear Defenders are a hearing protection accessory designed to attach directly to compatible Portwest safety helmets, providing on-site noise attenuation without the need for a separate headband unit.

Featuring an adjustable dual pin system, these ear defenders can be positioned precisely to suit the wearer, and moved to a stand-off position when not in use — making them well suited to environments where hearing protection is needed intermittently throughout the working day. This practical design helps workers comply with noise exposure requirements on construction sites, in manufacturing, or during groundworks without removing their helmet.

Compatibility is an important consideration with clip-on ear defenders. These are designed for use with Portwest Endurance Helmets, Height Endurance Helmets, and Peak View Helmets. Please note that attenuation performance varies depending on the helmet style used. Both CE certified (CE-CAT III) and UKCA marked, they meet the requirements for PPE supplied and used in the UK market.
