Portwest Temporary Horizontal Lifeline

The Portwest Temporary Horizontal Lifeline is a fall arrest system designed to allow workers to move safely at height across a horizontal span of up to 20 metres.

Rigorously tested to meet industry standards, this lifeline is built for job sites where temporary fall protection is required. It requires no additional tools to install, making it a practical choice for contractors who need a reliable system that can be set up and taken down quickly.

Once in position, the lifeline supports up to two workers simultaneously, making it well suited to roofing, steel erection, and other elevated work where multiple operatives share the same work zone. The ratchet tensioner allows quick and precise adjustment, ensuring the line remains correctly tensioned throughout use.

A carrying bag is attached directly to the system, keeping all components together for straightforward transport and storage between sites. With a 10-year shelf life from the manufacturing date, this lifeline offers long-term value as part of a compliant working at height programme.
