We bought this for our small patch of lawn, both edging and instead of a mower, and it works brilliantly for our needs. Delivered on time, as advertised, for a decent price.

Excellent service from tooled up would recomend. Appears to be a well made strimmer. Hope it lasts longer than the black & decker brushless which I purchased from Amazon which lasted 3 years with very light use until the motor burnt out.

Absolutely brilliant. I've always used an electric strimmer with cable & 2 extension leads which took ages to set up. When a friend advised me to buy a Ryobi I must admit I was a bit sceptical. I bought this strimmer for much less than on other sites & it's the best strimmer I've ever had. So lightweight, easy to use . I also found the battery & charger both on different sites at a low price. So pleased with all of it.

Ryobi have really pulled another one out of the bag here. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT COME WITH A BATTERY!* We already have a few Ryobi tools so we could use a battery shared across the tools (which is the whole idea). It cuts cleanly, has good stamina, and even the auto-feed system seems to work generally better than in other strimmers. This has replaced a corded Qualcast one which was poor, and a corded Bosch one which was average. We're delighted with it, as we have been with all of our Ryobi tools.*(admin comment: it's available with or without battery by selecting from the drop-down menu at purchase)
