Q : Bought this only cut a few pieces of tree overheating acting like it's burning out smoke comes from motor when you press the start button feels like it has seized
A : Hi Nigel, this product has been delisted but was supplied with a three year warranty so if you suspect there is a manufacturing fault I'd advise speaking to the retailer you bought it from to see if you're able to get it looked at under warranty
Q : What size file for sharpening the cutting teeth?
A : Hi El, this depends on the chain fitted to your particular saw but I believe most of these ship with an Oregon 91PJ056X - this has a chain pitch of 3/8" and requires a 4mm (5/32") chainsaw file. If you want to check the pitch of your chain, count the distance between three consecutive rivets and divide that number by two
Q : Does this Ryobi chainsaw work as standard using a uk standard plug socket? It says it has a 240v power supply? Do I need some kind of converter?
A : I can confirm that this has a standard UK mains powered 3pin plug.

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied.
