Q : Hi, I noticed that this product has a lifetime warranty. If one of the bits were to snap, would this be replaced? Just because I am a mechanic and we use these a lot for doing Exhaust Gas Recirculation Coolers/ removing T45 bolts. In some cases the torx bits can snap. Kind regards, Dan
A : Hi Dan, this is the warranty information as outlined on the Sealey website: "All Premier and Siegen Hand Tools are covered by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Our no quibble lifetime warranty covers individual items within sets. Excludes general wear and tear, misuse, and the following products: TRX-Star* T40 bits, breaker bar knuckles, drill bits, punches, chisels, cutting blades and edges (such as fitted/included with knives, scrapers, axes and saw blades) and taps and dies. Items such as Tool storage, Wood Chisels, Taps & Dies and Punches & Chisels carry a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. See individual items for details." This product carries a product lifetime manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship for the expected life of the product as defined by the manufacturer, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
Some manufacturers will offer a direct repair or replacement service (as applicable) which will often resolve your problem more quickly.
We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product. Thereafter a repair or exchange as appropriate will be offered.
