The Sealey SPBC8 is a fully automatic 8 amp battery charger designed for professional workshop use and vehicle maintenance applications. This intelligent 7-stage charger handles multiple battery chemistries including EFB and AGM (stop/start), GEL, lead acid and lithium batteries, with automatic chemistry selection for simplified operation.

The unit automatically detects and charges 6V, 12V or 24V batteries depending on the battery connected, delivering 8A output at 6V and 12V, or 4A at 24V for batteries ranging from 40 to 100Ah capacity. Manual selection is required for 12V lithium batteries. Advanced recovery features include zero volt charging capability to revive completely discharged batteries (once any load is removed) and a sulfation repair function for rehabilitating older batteries.

Multiple safety protections are built in, including reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature and overcharging safeguards. The intuitive LED screen displays charging stages, voltage and amperage output, and battery capacity status in real-time. A 13.5V DC power supply mode enables battery support during prolonged electrical and diagnostic work, making this particularly useful for automotive diagnostics and electrical system testing.
