Sealey SPP02 Solar Power Panel and 12v Charging Cable Kit

The Sealey SPP02 is an amorphous solar panel kit designed to maintain the charge of 12V batteries and power packs using nothing more than natural daylight.

Using advanced amorphous solar cell technology, the panel converts ambient daylight directly into 12V electricity — meaning it doesn't require direct sunlight to generate a useful charge. This makes it particularly well suited to the unpredictable light conditions common across the UK.

The kit is ideal for keeping batteries topped up during long-term storage or periods of inactivity. Typical applications include leisure batteries in boats and caravans, as well as vehicle batteries left unused for extended periods. Maintaining a charge through inactivity helps reduce the risk of battery deterioration and costly replacements.

Rated IP44, the panel is not fully waterproof and should be used behind a car windscreen or similar protective glazing. Suction pad fixings are supplied for straightforward positioning, and the kit also includes battery clips and a vehicle accessory socket plug. Note that the accessory socket plug is only compatible with vehicles that have a permanent live accessory socket.
