Spear and Jackson Predator X Hardpoint Wood Hand Saw

The Spear and Jackson Predator X is a hardpoint wood hand saw designed for fast, accurate cutting across a wide range of timber and sheet materials. Its fleam tooth configuration enables cutting on both the push and pull stroke, making it an efficient choice for tradespeople and site carpenters working with construction timber, softwood, hardwood, chipboard, and MDF.

The rigid blade is hardened and tempered carbon steel, which helps minimise whip and vibration during use — a key consideration when working through the day on site. The 22" blade length and 8 PPI tooth configuration strike a balance between cutting speed and control, suitable for general joinery and construction tasks.

The high-impact polystyrene handle is fitted with a soft-feel non-slip grip for secure handling, while built-in 45° and 90° angle guides make it straightforward to start cuts accurately without the need for a separate square.
