Stanley Fatmax V20 SFMCE040 18v Cordless Soldering Iron

With Stanley's FatMax V20 cordless soldering iron, you don't need to be plugged in to a power socket to carry out soldering work - making it perfect for jobs like repairing or modifying wiring and circuits on vehicles and machinery without having to bring them into a workshop first, or for working on construction sites where there's no mains power available. It's also a great option for the hobbyist who'd rather solder in the shed than at the kitchen table. It is part of the Stanley FatMax V20 system and will run on any Stanley FatMax V20 power tool battery.

The temperature is easily adjustable, ranging from 204°C to 482°C, to cover all kinds of applications. The temperature setting also allows for better autonomy management (Setting 1 = 41 min for 2ah battery / Setting 2 = 33 min for 2ah battery / Setting 3 = 22 min for 2ah battery). The base unit which slides on to the battery features a metal sponge holder and sponge for wiping the soldering tip during use, along with storage slots for spare tips. The iron is compatible with readily available 6.35mm diameter soldering tips.
