The Starrett KFC06023 is an 8 piece general purpose hole saw set featuring bi-metal construction with extra cobalt HSS tooth material for enhanced heat and wear resistance. Specifically designed to cut stainless steel, metals and mild steel sheet, these fast cut saws will also cut through wood, plastic, plaster and other materials, making them ideal for electricians, plumbers and general contractors working across multiple trades.

The 5.5 TPI positive rake tooth design ensures a smoother and faster cut compared to constant pitch hole saws, whilst requiring less torque for easier operation. The extra cobalt tooth material significantly improves product life when cutting through demanding materials such as 3mm stainless steel, mild steel sheet and tubes.

With 30% extra gullet volume, these hole saws deliver better material penetration and chip clearance during cutting. The set includes six hole saw sizes from 22mm to 64mm, providing versatile coverage for the most common drilling applications. The recommended cutting depth is up to 13mm in softer materials, though the saws can cut to depths of 41mm in appropriate conditions.
