Trend T18S/BA5A 18v Cordless TXLi Li-ion Battery 5ah
The Trend T18S/BA5A is an 18V 5Ah lithium-ion battery pack designed for use with the full range of Trend 18V cordless power tools, delivering extended run times for demanding on-site applications.
High performance lithium-ion cells provide consistent power output throughout the charge cycle, making this battery well suited to sustained use in carpentry, joinery, and workshop environments. The 5Ah capacity is the highest in the Trend battery range, offering significantly longer working periods between charges compared to the 2Ah and 4Ah alternatives.
Securing to compatible tools via a positive lock button, the battery connects reliably and remains stable during use. Compatible with all Trend 18V lithium-ion battery tools, it integrates seamlessly into an existing Trend cordless system without the need for adaptors or additional accessories.
A built-in LED charge indicator with four individual LEDs allows quick charge status checks at a glance, reducing downtime on site. The heavy duty outer casing provides robust protection against the knocks and drops typical of a trade environment.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
