Excellent product. Cuts the tiles like butter! Pump a bit fiddly at first and water was everywhere but apart from that a great job.
Excellent machine i had to lay 80m of travatene and it cut throught them like butter. Only fault with this machine is the wheels for moving it, they,re a bit flimsy.
Used for cutting 600mm composite floor tiles. easy straight cuts and not very messy to operate. a little bulky but wheels make it easier to move around. water tank can be messy to fill/empty; sump plug could be in a better spot, but being picky. overall, good value for money, robust machine.
This tile saw is the best purchase i have made, i am cutting 610 x 410 x 12mm marbel tiles and it is cutting them like butter, and as straight and neat as the manufacturers edge. Highly recommended. regards tom o'donnell
I used the cutter for the first time to cut marble tiles. It cut the tiles easily and with a clean cut. The only down side was getting the water pipe connected to the pump in the water tray. I ended up using the housing of a pen to connect the two. The diameter of the water pipe was too small for the pump and kept splitting. Once this teething problem was sorted it worked brilliant saving me a lot of time. Would recommend the cutter to anyone.
I used this to cut 20mm marble tiles 600 x 400 and it sliced through like butter. only down side the guide is not set at 90 degrees and is darn dificult to set it up to cut at 90, but for the price it a good bit of kit.
the best machine cuts 12 & 15mm Stones like slicing through cream cake, the only minus point is the the sheer weight and size of it makes it difficult to transport between jobs otherwise brilliant would recommend to every one
Probably the only budget tile cutter for the now trendy 600mm tiles. Only one other I know of....RUBI
The tile saw was of excellent build quality and performed extremely well Very clean and precise cuts, straight and angled, no dust as its water cooled blade. Good saw for the money.
The tile saw was of excellent build quality and performed extremely well. The saw easily cut over 15 sq metres of 600mm x 300mm x 10mm ceramic tiles with excellent accuracy and no breakages. One small design error is the combined trailing cable and water pipe to the saw head keeps getting snagged on the table causing the blade to jerk, but I have tied it up as a temporary fix. All in all, an excellent tool offering very good value for money.
Very good build and value for all tile cutting up to 600mm, who wants to put bigger tiles than that. Very clean and precise cuts, straight and angled, no dust as its water cooled blade. Cuts a 13mm x 600mm limestone in less than a minute. Only one problem the trailing cable and the water pipe keeps getting caught, but I have rigged it up after wasting a few tiles.
this saw was great value compared to other brands and is a great smooth cutting saw. A little bit heavy to handle but still a good saw for the money.
This is the first of these saws i have owned and I have to say it is fantastic. I bought this as I had 600mm porcelain tiles to fit and most of the budget cutters didn`t have a big enough bed, also this is more powerful than the competition for the money(900watts). I have to say it cut through the tiles like butter with a really clean cut. Once you get used to the fence it is very accurate. Only negative is there is no plunge cutting facility and the blade supplied has a limited life for porcelain. I would recommend a Diamond Marcrist or a Rubi blade £60-£90. Also it is quite heavy at 46kg. Still it made my life much easier and a good finish on the job. All in all very good value.9/10
Very upset with the product as it was used for half an hour before its fuse blew. Awaiting refund one week later after returning.
One really annoying thing the water pisses everywhere comes out of hoses where it shouldn’t. The wheels are **** keep failing off and it’s so big and awkward to bring anywhere! And for this saw going through porcelain tiles like butter is a load of ******** after few cuts it struggles.
Do not expect the blades supplied with the saw to cut well - they don’t. I am an experienced tiler and have used many types of wet saw and various blades and the blades supplied with this saw are far inferior to any i have ever used before. the blades supplied with the saw chip the tile edge on the back of the blade, regardless of the speed at which you cut or how careful you are. The saw itself is very good, but if you want a cut without any chipping you will need to buy higher grade diamond blade.
Looked great out of the box and for the first few days. Then realized the bed was out of square. After messing around for awhile i got it set having taken the bed apart as you cant do this without. took it onsite to cut a load of marble for a complex floor. First thing i realised the water tray is actually very brittle and it burst along one edge wall/base. Have since noticed the wiring on entry to the pump has frayed so will have to tape it up at least or seal it. Also, the black ribbed hose carrying water feed to the mortor has torn itself from its housing. It would have been better design if they had led this up and away from the bridge which it constantly and annoyingly snags on causing failure. The bridge needs oiled to keep the saw fluid on its track. when you have a chunck of 30mm slate on it, it doesn't like it much and you have to go very slowly to stop it from power failure setting the trip. in future i am going for a better and more robust piece of kit. Fair for the money but as they say, you really do get what ylou pay for.
I have been frustrated trying to use this saw on 20mm limestone. When cutting large format tiles of 60cm the saw will not cut a straigth line but persistantly veers to the left and cuts out. I attribute this to inadequate build quality.

Customer Questions & Answers
Q : do you stock spare parts for this machine? As I need a new top box /switch for it
A : Hi Lee, unfortunately we don't stock Vitrex spares but if you contact the manufacturer they may be able to advise if this part is available
Q : Hello I am interested in buying the tile cutting machine, powerpro 900, can I ask which courier service you use, and how do I now accept delivery because of social distancing, it would be great if it is keep side delivery, and I would be here to accept delivery
A : Hi Stephen, our standard courier for these larger items is DHL - you can add delivery instructions when you place a new order and these will be visible to the driver when they go to make delivery. At the current time they are taking photos for proof of delivery rather than asking for signatures (the driver will usually leave the goods on the doorstep and ring the bell to alert the recipient)
Q : What blade do you recommend for the best cutting of glass at maximum depth
A : Hi Paul, unfortunately we don't stock any compatible blades for the Power Pro 900 which are specifically recommended for glass - unless you can find a suitable product from another retailer (bearing in mind it requires a 22mm bore) or use another machine, it may be a bit hit & miss unfortunately. Some users have reported success with the Vitrex Ultimate Diamond blade when cutting glass tiles but this is not the manufacturers recommendation.
Q : Blade supplied be good for Porcelain tiles 600x1200mm and is it a standard fit blade ?
A : This saw has a maximum cutting length of this saw is 630mm. The standard blade is suitable for ceramic, terracotta and quarry tiles, slate, marble, masonry, concrete and stone. The Ultimate Diamond Blade which is available separately is suitable for ceramic, porcelain, granite, marble and natural stone
Q : will this saw cut 900mm tiles
A : No unfortunately maximum cutting length of this saw is 630mm
Q : What is maximum size the saw can cut in the length
A : I can confirm that this tile saw has a maximum cutting length of 630mm
