Wilkinson Sword Carbon Steel Digging Spade

The Wilkinson Sword Carbon Steel Digging Spade is a robust, professional-grade spade designed for tackling heavy and compact soils with confidence.

Constructed with a high-quality carbon steel head, this spade is built to withstand demanding conditions on site or in the garden. The double riveted head socket reinforces the connection between blade and shaft, reducing the risk of failure under load — a key consideration when working with hard or clay-heavy ground.

The natural ash handle is weatherproofed to resist the elements, making this spade a reliable choice for extended outdoor use. A sturdy tread plate supports the foot during digging, improving control and reducing fatigue over long periods. The hard-wearing green epoxy finish adds further protection against corrosion and daily wear.

Ideal for landscapers, groundworkers, and contractors who need a dependable digging spade, this tool performs well across a range of applications including trench digging, soil turning, and preparation of planting areas. Backed by a 10-year warranty, it represents a sound long-term investment for trade and professional use.
