I'm reviewing my replacement shears that i have recently recieved, the first pair i had to return as faulty after 20 minutes of use hence the build quality has yet to be proven. my reason for purchase is simple with having only a right arm i buy tools that work for me. I hate using a strimmer for edging they just make a mess, i've used a longer edging version by wilkinson sword great idea but cheaply manufactured after a single season fell to pieces but not cheap to buy. So i've decided to give these bahco shears a try i use there bow saws ans axes throughout the winter and i've always found them to be superb tools. Now upon using the shears i found them to be very comfortable the edges suitably sharp, a couple of drops of oil in the mechanism and very pleased. I have two lots of lawn front and back the edging was effortless fast neat cutting even hard to reach places because of the adjustable head. Made short work of the job, cleaned and oiled and not used since grass just hasn't grown enough to constitute cutting but so far so good with the shears.
