Great product for the price. Is really effective not just for basic trimming, but is powerful enough to tackle larger jobs.
We have a large garden and many power tools mostly petrol powered, as our garden has many 'difficult' areas. We needed a powerful but electric machine that was lighter and easier to start. This trimmer has exceeded our expectations in every way and it has found wider application than we thought, we should have bought it years ago. Very happy to recommend.

This is a Heavy Duty trimmer! Easy to change from normal to heavy duty use. Light to carry. Easy to use. Good cutting action in heavy tall weeds.
The B&D GL9035 Heavy Duty Grass Trimmer is far superior than my previous Bosch one. This cuts the lawn right up to to the wall and path without the line constantly breaking. I'm not sure I'll need the extra strong lines that came with it. But the may be useful when clearing around our scout building. Overall the weight distribution is good and the ability to change the length of the shaft is useful
