Bosch 19 Piece HSS-G Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 19 Piece HSS-G Drill Bit Set is a precision-ground HSS drill bit set designed for drilling metal, with sizes from 1 mm to 10 mm. Each bit has an exposed 135-degree self-centring split-point tip that combines active cutting with accurate centring, so it does not wander at the start of the hole. For holes up to 10 mm, there is no need to pre-punch or pilot drill.

The bits are precision-ground from HSS (high-speed steel). Compared with standard-ground HSS drill bits with chisel edges, they offer up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower feed pressure. They are suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics.

Each bit has a cylindrical shank, with the shank equal to the bit diameter, for use in drill stands and drill drivers with three-jaw chucks. The set is manufactured to DIN 338 and is Type N (flute angle) with a diameter tolerance of h8. All 19 bits come in a metal cassette.
