Bosch 25 Piece HSS-G Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 25 Piece HSS-G Drill Bit Set is a precision-ground HSS twist drill bit set designed for drilling metal, supplied in a metal cassette.

Each bit has an exposed 135-degree self-centring split-point tip that combines active cutting with accurate centring, so the bit does not wander on the surface. There is no need to pre-punch or pilot drill for holes up to 10 mm. Compared with standard-ground HSS drill bits with chisel edges, the precision-ground HSS construction gives up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower feed pressure.

This set suits engineers, fabricators and maintenance contractors drilling alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. The cylindrical shanks match the bit diameter and fit three-jaw drill chucks, for use in drill drivers and drill stands.

The bits are manufactured to DIN 338, Type N (flute angle), with a 135-degree tip and an h8 diameter tolerance.
