Bosch 5 Piece Wood Forstner Bit Set

The Bosch 5 Piece Wood Forstner Bit Set is a precision drilling solution designed for accurate, clean-bore holes in a range of wood-based materials.

Each bit features a toothed-edge design that reduces friction and heat during use, contributing to an extended working life. The short centring tip incorporates two main cutting edges and one periphery cutting edge, ensuring precise hole placement with minimal breakout.

Large chip-free zones promote efficient chip removal, helping maintain drilling accuracy and speed throughout the task. The bits are suitable for use in soft and hard wood, veneered wood, and non-laminated chipboard, making this set a practical choice for carpenters and joiners working across a variety of substrates.

Typical applications include fixing hinges, dowelling, and removing knotholes, as well as edge and slant drilling. The bits are compatible with all standard drills and drill stands fitted with a 10mm chuck. The 3-sided shank prevents spinning in the chuck for secure, controlled operation.
