Bosch EXPERT 3 Piece HEX-9 Hard Ceramic Tile Drill Bit Set

The Bosch EXPERT 3 Piece HEX-9 Hard Ceramic Tile Drill Bit Set is a specialist tile drilling set designed for cutting through hard ceramic and porcelain tiles cleanly and accurately without the need for water, lubricant, or cooling.

As tiles have become increasingly larger and harder, conventional drill bits struggle to deliver reliable performance. Bosch developed the EXPERT Hard Ceramic Drill Bit to meet this challenge directly, offering up to 10x longer service life compared to the Bosch CYL-9 Soft Ceramic Drill Bit — making it a sound investment for tilers, plumbers, and bathroom fitters working with modern hard tile materials.

The performance advantage comes from Bosch's Carbide Technology, which integrates the hardest metal available into a precision-ground, multi-faceted tip. This advanced tip design distributes the workload across multiple asymmetric faces, reducing heat and wear during drilling. The specially designed centring point allows accurate hole placement from the first contact, preventing the bit from skidding across the tile surface.

The HEX-9 hex shank provides a secure, positive connection in both standard three-jaw chucks and ¼" internal hex tool holders, ensuring maximum torque transmission with minimal slippage. This set includes 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm bits — covering the most common fixing and pipe entry diameters encountered in wall tiling work.

Features and Benefits:
• Lasts up to 10x longer than the Bosch CYL-9 Soft Ceramic Drill Bit for extended working life
