Bosch GCD 18V-355 18v Cordless Metal Dry Cutter Saw 355mm
The Bosch GCD 18V-355 is an 18V cordless metal dry cutter saw designed for cutting metal profiles and sections cleanly and efficiently on site, without the need for a mains power supply.
As the world's first cordless 18V dry cutter with a 355mm sawblade, this machine delivers performance equivalent to a 2000W corded dry cutter — powered by a single 18V battery. The brushless motor cuts metal cold, producing minimal sparks and no need for deburring, making it well suited to professional metalworkers, fabricators, and contractors working across varied or remote locations.
Precision and control are central to the GCD 18V-355. A laser cutting line makes workpiece alignment straightforward, whilst the keyless adjustable fence allows quick, accurate positioning without tools. The integrated overload indicator helps prevent excessive feed force, protecting both the battery and the sawblade and extending their working life.
The tool accepts a pipe jaw for secure clamping and offers a vertical cutting capacity of up to 127mm and a horizontal cutting capacity of up to 194mm. It is also fully compatible with Bosch GTA mitre saw stands via a dedicated adapter, making it a versatile addition to a professional workshop or site setup.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
