The Bosch Expert PRO BLUE EXBA 18V Cordless Twin Pack delivers two high-performance 8Ah lithium-ion batteries designed for demanding professional use. Built around advanced tabless cell technology, these batteries provide up to 120% more runtime than the standard Professional GBA 18V 4.0Ah, making them an ideal choice for contractors and tradespeople who need sustained power throughout the working day.
Conventional batteries restrict current flow through just two tab connections, creating internal resistance and heat build-up. The tabless cell design eliminates this bottleneck by introducing countless parallel current paths, resulting in less resistance, reduced heat generation, and instantaneous maximum power output of up to 2400W. The reinforced robust housing and COOLPACK 2.0 thermal management system further extend battery service life under heavy continuous use.
Each battery features a 5-LED charge indicator with remaining capacity display and defect risk detection, keeping you informed on site. The extended charging temperature range of -10°C to +55°C ensures reliable operation across all weather conditions, and a full charge can be achieved in as little as 39 minutes using a compatible EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 charger. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
