Bosch Expert PRO BLUE EXBA18V-40 18v Cordless Twin Pack Batteries 4ah

The Bosch Expert PRO BLUE EXBA18V-40 is a high-power 18V cordless battery pack, supplied as a twin pack with two 4Ah batteries, designed for demanding professional applications.

At the heart of this battery is advanced tabless cell technology, which replaces the conventional two-tab design with countless parallel current paths. This eliminates the internal resistance bottleneck found in standard batteries, resulting in less heat, greater power output, and an impressive energy density for a battery of this size.

The EXBA18V-40 delivers up to 2000W maximum power in the most compact design available in its class. Reinforced robust housing and COOLPACK 2.0 thermal management work together to extend battery lifetime, making this pack a reliable choice for contractors and tradespeople who depend on consistent performance throughout a full working day.

Charging is straightforward and fast — a full charge takes just 30 minutes when used with the compatible EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 chargers. The extended charging temperature range of -10°C to +55°C is well suited to UK site conditions across all seasons. A 5-LED indicator provides clear feedback on charge level, remaining capacity, and defect risk detection.

Compatible with the full Bosch Professional 18V System and the multi-brand AMPShare battery alliance, these batteries integrate seamlessly into existing 18V tool setups from multiple manufacturers — reducing the need to carry multiple battery platforms on site.
