Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Although there was nothing wrong with the product it had to be returned due to a change of circumstances. In spite of this the service was excellent and the returns policy worked exceptionally well. Should the need arise in the future I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent Bosch battery. A Bought to supplement batteries for the 36v hedge trimmer and Strimmer. A bit expensive but great performance and build, I expect that it will give great service for some time.

Bought as a back-up battery for Bosch Rotak 37 Li-ion Lawn Mower. The original battery, now in its 6th year is performing at approximately 75% of its original capacity and is unable to complete mowing my lawns on 1 charge. This battery, only about half the weight of the OEM, I am able to complete the task with a simple battery change. I consider this smaller battery a very cost effective way of prolonging the mowers use rather than purchasing a very expensive OEM standard battery at over 3 times the price of this variant.

Q : Afternoon Will this battery fit a Qualcast A022004 36v lawn mower ?
A : Hi Peter, unfortunately I'm not familiar with the mower you mention but generally speaking its very rare for batteries to be inter-compatible between brands, and I would assume it's not suitable unless it specifically says in the user manual that it can use Bosch 36v lithium ion batteries?

A : Hi Karl, yes this is a suitable battery for the Bosch Rotak 34 Li Ergoflex - in fact all Bosch 36v "Li" lawnmowers, past and present, will run on this battery.
Q : will a Bosch 36v vf-li drill battery fit a Bosch 36v hedge trimmer.
A : Hi Roy, the li-ion power tool batteries from the Bosch Professional (Blue) 36v range will work in the 36v (Green) garden tools, but not the other way round

A : Hi Marje, yes - this is a suitable replacement battery for the Bosch Rotak 410 LI Ergoflex and will be compatible with previous models of Bosch 36v charger - bear in mind at 2.0ah you can expect around half the runtime you would have got with your 4.0ah battery when it was new though
Q : Hi What is the difference between Red and Green Bosch 36v Cordless Li-ion 2Ah Battery?!!
A : Hi Rudrapathy, if you are looking at two Bosch 36v GARDEN 2ah batteries the difference between the red and green models is only really cosmetic. I think they started making them green for easier distinction between this range and the Bosch PROFESSIONAL 36v platform (which still uses red batteries). Bosch Professional 36v li-ion batteries aren't designed for lawnmowers and grass trimmers etc but rather for the Bosch Blue (Professional) 36v cordless range of drills and industrial power tools
Q : I have a Bosch cordless mower 3600H81771 (i believe its a rotak 36 ergoflex?). Would this battery be compatible as the current one is 2.6Ah? and also would it work with my current charger? Many Thanks in advance
A : Hi Katie, yes all the batteries and chargers from the Rotak 36v mowers are compatible with each other - the only difference the Ah rating makes is the amount of runtime you will get out of it before the battery needs recharging, so the 2ah version has a little less capacity than the 2.6ah one (which I think has since been discontinued)
Q : Hi there. This looks like the replacement I need for my old Rotak mower but the specifications say it weighs 0.4kg and the old one I'm holding weighs 1.23kg Have I got it wrong? Thanks for your help.
A : Hi Kenneth, there have been a few different iterations of these batteries over the years but they all have the same connections and are fully cross-compatible, as long as you have a 36v lithium cordless machine. They may have been able to get the weight down by using different cells inside them but bear in mind there are also different capacities available, and the 4ah version sounds closer to your current battery, at 1.276kg. (product code 21006776) - the only difference is the 2ah battery has half the runtime of the 4ah version.
Q : Hi, will the 36 volt LI battery advertised fit the BOSCH 30-36 STRIMMER, it looks very similar except the original is 2.6 amp hour rating, thanks, Tony .
A : Hi Tony, yes - I believe the 2.6ah model has been discontinued but this battery is fully compatible with the ART 30-36 and the charger that came with it. There is also a 4ah version available on product ID 21006776.
Q : My 370LI came with two 2A batteries. I’d like to extend my mowing time on a single charge - would one of your Bosch 4A batteries be suitable? And would it fit the charger that came with the mower?
A : Hi Michael, yes - the Bosch Garden 36v 4ah battery on product ID 21006776 will be suitable for your Rotak 370 LI and the charger that came with it.
