Bosch Genuine BLUE and GREEN 36v Cordless Li-ion Battery 4ah and Charger
The Bosch 36V 4Ah Li-ion Battery and Charger Starter Set is a high-performance power solution designed for use across the full range of Bosch 36V POWER FOR ALL cordless garden tools.
Part of the POWER FOR ALL ecosystem, this battery is fully compatible with all Bosch 36V Home & Garden tools, giving users the flexibility to run multiple tools from a single battery platform. This makes it an ideal entry point for anyone building out their cordless garden equipment collection.
The 36V battery delivers strong performance for heavier-duty outdoor applications, operating without the emissions or noise associated with petrol-powered alternatives. CoolPack technology actively manages battery temperature to extend service life, with Bosch stating up to 100% longer lifetime compared to batteries without this technology.
Indicator LEDs provide clear visibility of both battery charge level and charging status at a glance. The battery also features no self-discharge or memory effect, so it holds its charge between uses and can be topped up at any point without reducing long-term capacity.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
