A housing with a decoupled sanding unit maintains consistent contact pressure throughout the sanding stroke, delivering high-quality results across the workpiece. The unique vibration damping system keeps vibration emissions low — just 2.5 m/s² when sanding solid wood — supporting longer periods of continuous use in line with HSE hand-arm vibration guidelines.

Dust management is handled by a multi-hole sanding pad that accommodates sanding sheets with different hole patterns, working in conjunction with the built-in Bosch Micro Filter System dust box. The tool is compatible with the Bosch Click & Clean System for quick, clean dust box changes on site. Variable speed control (5,500–12,000 rpm) allows the user to match the orbital stroke rate to the material and finish required.
