Bosch GHO 18V-26 18v Cordless Brushless Planer
The Bosch GHO 18V-26 18v Cordless Brushless Planer is engineered for precise planing of natural and processed wood materials, delivering consistent, flat surfaces with the freedom of cordless operation. Powered by Bosch's brushless motor technology, it offers performance comparable to corded tools without the restriction of a cable — ideal for on-site and workshop use alike.
The planer features a motor brake that stops the blade drum in under a second for enhanced safety, and a one-blade head system that maximises battery run time. Three chamfer grooves provide versatility for edge work, while a constant electronic system maintains cutting speed under load. An extra blade storage slot comes pre-loaded with a spare blade, and both a chip bag and parallel guide are included as standard.
This model is available with or without a carrying case, allowing you to choose the configuration that suits your storage and transport needs.
Features and Benefits:
• Consistent flatness in wood surfaces due to precision engineering design
• Fast blade change without adjustment thanks to the dual-blade TC changing system
• Improved dust management and dual chipping saves time and effort on site
• Brushless motor delivers similar power performance to corded tools
• Cordless design allows you to work freely anywhere without cable restrictions
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
