With the appropriate ProCORE battery installed, the Bosch GKS 18V-68 performs like an 1800 watt corded circular saw, only without the inconvenience of having to plug it into a power socket. Whether you're in the workshop, on a construction site or working in a domestic property, this 18v cordless saw can be used anywhere regardless of what kind of power is available, and without feeling like you're compromising any performance in the process. Thanks to Bosch BITURBO technology, it is compatible with all 18v li-ion batteries in the Bosch Professional system, as well as those from the AMPShare platform, but for maximum power it is recommended to use a ProCORE battery with a capacity of 5.5ah or higher.

The GKS 18V-68 has a brushless motor which helps to ensure longer runtimes and delivers faster cutting speeds than many corded saws - and since there is no trailing power cable getting in the way, it is much more convenient, especially when working in less accessible areas. To make it even more of a pleasure to use, Bosch have also designed a new type of auxiliary handle which allows for better control when holding the tool in a variety of positions, and fitted a rotating dust port which can be angled so that it is out of the way during use.

Additional features include Overload and Restart protection, as well as a fast acting brake that prevents the blade from spinning down for a long time in between uses.
