Although slightly expensive, this drill really is a top quality well built piece of equipment. it is more powerful than all of the competitors and although the trend these days is to automatically switch to an sds drill for anything involving brick or concrete, this drill (combined with the dewalt extreme 2 masonary bits) perform almost as quickly but with less risk of blowing the brickwork as badly as sds drills. in wood and metal it is impossible to fault the performance. the constant electronics gives a slightly odd effect as you no longer hear the change in pitch when you start biting at the material, but it does help when drilling at slow speeds.
