The Bosch GSC 18V-16 E is an 18V cordless metal shear designed for cutting steel and aluminium sheeting, ventilation pipes, and channels in professional trade environments.
Powered by a brushless motor, the GSC 18V-16 E delivers cutting performance equivalent to a 700W corded tool — without the restriction of a cable. Maintenance-free components and a high-quality build contribute to long tool life, making it a reliable choice for plumbers, HVAC engineers, and metal construction contractors.
Ergonomics have been carefully considered, with a slim 156mm grip and a well-balanced, lightweight design that reduces fatigue during extended use. The tool achieves a no-load stroke rate of 3,200spm and a minimum curve cutting radius of 20mm, offering precision across a range of cutting tasks. Restart protection provides an additional layer of user safety.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
