Bosch GSH 18V-5 18v Cordless SDS Max Demolition Hammer
Demolition work is tough on the body, and even more so when using heavy tools in awkward spaces or for overhead jobs - so with the GSH 18V-5, Bosch set out to design a demolition hammer that was both lightweight and convenient, with a reduced size for better access in tight spaces. Thanks to its powerful brushless technology it delivers corded performance with an impact energy of 8.5 Joules, but requires only a single 18v battery, allowing you to work in freedom without excess bulk or trailing power cables getting in the way. The GSH 18V-5 is a BITURBO tool and will work with any Bosch Professional or AmpShare 18v battery, but for maximum performance it is designed to work best with ProCORE batteries that have a capacity of 5.5ah or higher.
Compatible with SDS Max chisels, the GSH 18V-5 has a soft start and Adaptive Speed Control which allow for precise chiselling when needed. Flat chisels can be locked in the required position with the Vario-Lock function and an integrated LED worklight allows for better visibility of the work area when working in darker conditions.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
