The Bosch Robust Line 6 Piece HSS-TiN Drill Bit Set is a professional metal drilling set, offering six titanium-nitride coated HSS twist drill bits engineered for extended working life and precise performance.
The TiN coating significantly reduces friction and wear during use, particularly when a suitable cooling agent is applied. Each bit is ground from high-speed steel (HSS) to a high surface quality, supporting consistent, accurate drilling across a range of materials including alloyed and non-alloyed steel, malleable cast iron, sintered iron, new silver, copper, bronze, and hard plastics such as Perspex.
Manufactured to DIN 338 and conforming to Type N flute geometry, each drill bit features a 135-degree pointed split-point tip that promotes active cutting and precise centring without wandering. The h8 diameter tolerance ensures accuracy, and the cylindrical shank design is compatible with standard three-jaw drill chucks. This set is suitable for use in drill stands and drill drivers. Note: these bits are not suitable for use on aluminium, and a cooling agent must be used during drilling.
The set covers six diameters from 2mm to 8mm, making it a practical choice for contractors and metalworkers requiring a versatile range of HSS drill bits for everyday workshop or on-site use.
