The DeWalt DCBP034 is an 18V XR cordless battery utilising advanced Powerstack technology for enhanced power delivery and extended service life. This compact 1.7Ah Li-ion battery represents a significant advancement over traditional cylindrical cell designs, offering tradespeople improved performance in a lighter, more ergonomic package.
Powerstack technology uses pouch cell construction with increased surface area and lower internal resistance, enabling higher current flow and voltage delivery to power tools. This low impedance design translates to up to 50% more power compared to the DCB183, improving application speed and productivity across demanding tasks. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
