Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Very well designed, and good build quality as expected from DeWalt. Lighter than most mains versions and very easy to handle. Battery life between charges is more than adequate - after 75 minutes of hedge-cutting, have a tea break whilst recharging, and it is ready for another 75 minutes. Plenty of power to cut overgrown hedges. Can't comment on reliability/durability yet, but if as good as other DeWalt products that I have used for years, all should be well. Only downside, when reaching out and needing to hold the side of the handle instead of the top, it is more difficult to operate the safety switch as your hand is nearer the pivot point of the handle. Overall, a brilliant product, my only regret is that I spent years with heavy mains driven cutters and trailing cables before discovering this machine.
Great XR kit as usual from DeWalt, good service from Tooled-Up
Great piece of kit, good quality as you would expect from DeWalt. Battery life was better than expected, cut through the thicker wood with ease. Best price I could find was from TOOLED-UP
