DeWalt DCS331 18v XR Cordless Jigsaw
The DeWalt DCS331 18v XR Cordless Jigsaw delivers professional cutting performance with intelligent lithium-ion technology. Part of the XR range, it offers extreme runtime, increased efficiency and improved performance through an intelligent switch module that constantly monitors tool and battery operation, preventing damage from overload or temperature build-up.
The powerful PM47 fan-cooled motor with replaceable brushes delivers fast cutting action up to 3000 strokes per minute, whilst the patented anti-vibration counter-balance mechanism ensures smooth operation. The tool-free adjustable shoe with anti-scratch cover bevels 45 degrees in both directions, and the patented keyless blade change system accepts T-shank blades for quick changeovers.
Available as a bare unit or as a complete kit with batteries, charger and heavy-duty kitbox.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
