The Draper CSP2625 is a compact 25.4cc petrol chainsaw designed for pruning and working at height where manoeuvrability matters. Featuring a 250mm Oregon bar and chain, this lightweight 3.7kg saw combines professional-grade components with practical portability for arborists and tree surgeons.
Powered by a 2-stroke petrol engine delivering 850W (1.1HP), the CSP2625 incorporates a reliable Walbro carburettor for consistent performance. The rapid reaction chain brake provides essential safety protection, whilst anti-vibration handles reduce operator fatigue during extended use. Automatic adjustable chain lubrication maintains optimal cutting performance, drawing from the 160ml oil reservoir.
Ideal for pruning smaller branches and crown reduction work, this chainsaw excels where larger machines prove impractical. The 230ml fuel tank provides sufficient runtime for typical arborist tasks, and the compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for access challenges. Supplied complete with chain and bar guard, 2-stroke mixing bottle, chainsaw file, plain slot screwdriver and combination spanner tool, you have everything needed to get started.

Petrol Engines
It is important to read all instructions regarding petrol products. 4 Stroke engines require oil and some machines are supplied dry (No oil to start with). Running a 4 stroke petrol machine without oil will result in the engine seizing and is not covered under warranty.
2 Stroke engines will need to have a mix of oil in the petrol this is normally 1 part oil to 50 parts petrol but not always, again please read the instructions supplied with your machine. Petrol engines do require more maintenance than electric engines but if reguarly maintained they will normally give many years of use.
Chainsaws
Always make sure your oil is topped up & your chain is tensioned correctly. This will ensure your chain life is extended & more importantly is operating safely.
Remember Chainsaws are dangerous. Do not attempt to use one if you have not fully read the instructions, are confident in the correct use & have adequate safety equipment & clothing.
