Draper Expert Yankee Felling Axe
The Draper Expert Yankee Felling Axe combines traditional craftsmanship with robust materials for reliable performance in demanding forestry and timber work. Each axe features a head made from hardened and tempered high carbon steel, forged in the classic 'yankee' pattern that's favoured for its balanced design and effective cutting geometry.
The painted head with polished cutting edge provides enhanced corrosion protection, ensuring longevity even in challenging outdoor conditions. Every axe is fitted with a straight-grained natural hickory shaft that's been carefully sanded and lacquered for a comfortable, secure grip and lasting durability. Available in 1.1kg and 2kg weights to suit different applications and user preferences, each axe is supplied with a protective blade guard for safe storage and transport.
