Draper Hand Saw for Cellular Concrete and Soft Stone

The Draper Hand Saw for Cellular Concrete and Soft Stone is a specialised cutting tool designed for working with aerated concrete blocks and soft masonry materials. This 650mm saw features a carbon steel alloy blade with specially designed 1.4 teeth per inch, optimised for cutting through cellular concrete such as Thermalite, Celcon, and similar building blocks commonly used in UK construction.

The blade is coated with Teflon® to reduce friction and prevent material build-up during cutting, extending the working life of the saw and ensuring smoother, more efficient cuts. This coating is particularly beneficial when working with cellular concrete, which can be abrasive and cause premature wear on unprotected blades.

The TPR soft grip handle provides comfortable control during extended use, reducing hand fatigue on site. Integrated 90° and 45° angle markings on the handle enable accurate angle cutting without additional measuring tools, making it ideal for cutting blocks to fit around corners and creating mitred joints. A hang hole positioned towards the end of the blade allows for convenient storage on tool racks or pegboards.
